The Samsung Galaxy S25 series battery capacities and thickness of phones has been shared by Ice Universe. Most of this information was already confirmed thus far, but the tipster just reconfirmed it, basically.
Battery capacities & phone thickness of the Galaxy S25 series get shared by a tipster
He said that the Galaxy S25 will feature a 4,000mAh battery, so no improvement over the Galaxy S24. That is in line with a previous report, actually. Two other reports surfaced for the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra recently, which were both accurate too, it seems.
Ice Universe says that the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh battery packs, respectively. So… they’re also unchanged.
The three smartphones will measure 7.2mm, 7.3mm, and 8.2mm, respectively. What’s interesting is that all three phones will be exactly 0.4mm thinner than their predecessors.
That is all the information that the tipster shared this time around. So, even though the battery capacities will remain unchanged, we’re hoping that the new SoC, in combination with software updates, will make a difference.
It will be interesting to see whether the Galaxy S25 will end up offering notably better battery life
The Galaxy S25 in particular will be interesting to test in terms of battery life. Why? Well, because the Galaxy S24 was not exactly one of the best battery life smartphones around. Yes, it is a compact phone, but still, we expected more in terms of battery life.
That 4,000mAh battery is not large, true, but when we see a phone like the ZenFone 10, which has an even smaller display, includes a 4,300mAh battery, we cannot help but wonder why didn’t Samsung increase its battery capacity.
Either way, who knows, perhaps the phone ends up surprising us with really good battery life. Everything will be revealed in early 2025 when all three of these smartphones are set to launch.
