A new and unprecedented Genshin Impact collaboration event has commenced, and players who participate will be able to get access to a plethora of in-game rewards, including free Primogems and even an exclusive avatar that isn’t available through other means. HoYoverse’s action RPG has just entered Version 6.2, the patch that introduced Durin to Genshin Impact as a playable character.
While not part of the patch’s contents, per se, HoYoverse has announced the start of a collaboration event between Genshin Impact and the educational app Duolingo. From December 8 through December 27, Duolingo users who accomplish the exclusive 3-day streak quests in the app will gain access to rewards that can be claimed in the action RPG. The announcement was made via a press release.
Genshin Impact Collab With Duolingo Can Get You Rewards
Net Free Primogems & An Exclusive Avatar
In the Duolingo app, the collab will feature Paimon, Tighnari, and Cyno. Starting on December 8, users will unlock the Genshin Impact quest for free once they log in. Once they have completed three consecutive days’ worth of lessons, they will unlock a statue of Paimon and Duo in the app. Additionally, they will get rewards for the action RPG itself, like 60 free Primogems in Genshin Impact, as well as two Hero’s Wit and four Mystic Enhancement Ore.
Seeing that the event ends on December 27, the last day you can start your three-day streak is December 25.
In addition to the Primogems, completing the quest on the educational app will also grant you an exclusive avatar called Diligent Study, as well as a namecard called Celebration: Dream Reader. You will even gain access to a Sumeru dish called Spiced Fried Chicken and its recipe so that you can cook it at any given time. After completing the quest, you’ll have to claim the code from the Duolingo app’s Shop page before December 30 and redeem it in Genshin Impact before January 31.
Free Duolingo Rewards In Genshin Impact Can Improve Your Odds
Use Free Primogems To Pull For Durin Or Save For Future Characters
Even though the number of free Primogems from the collab event isn’t outstanding, it could be what helps you get in an extra pull from the Durin banner in Version 6.2, for example. If you’re not interested in the Pyro character, it’s worth noting that the leaked Genshin Impact 6.3 character banners feature two new 5-star characters, Columbina and Zibai, as well as a new 4-star unit called Illuga.
By easily accomplishing the task in Duolingo, you can add the free Primogems to your savings for the new characters that will debut in the next patch, expected to arrive in mid-January 2026, or perhaps even one of the rerun characters speculated to appear in the banners. Furthermore, the exclusive avatar and namecard can help set you apart from other players who didn’t take the quest in Duolingo.
HoYoverse is known for hosting collaboration events with unexpected brands, but the new one with Duolingo may be one of its most unprecedented ones yet. The good news is that Genshin Impact players and Duolingo users alike can benefit from the collab.
