Veteran Nollywood actress, Sola Sobowale, has revealed how her colleague, Adebayo Salami, helped her in her acting career.

While speaking at the premiere of “Her Excellency”, the thespian expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Salami.

Sobowale praised Salami for his kindness, generosity, and mentorship and credited him with helping her achieve her current success.

She described him as a “man of action, substance, and a giver” who has touched the lives of many, both in and out of the industry

She said, “God used him to take me where I am today. I have never done this in my life, but I am going to do it today. Ese Modupe. I am very grateful.

“You not only touched me, but you touched a lot of people, both alive and dead, males and females, young or old. You touched everybody, you’re a selfless man.

“You are a man of action and substance, a giver. Thank you. One thing that I will never forget and have been waiting for the opportunity to say is Mama Wale. You supported him, and that’s why he is standing the way he is today. You will enjoy the fruit of your labour”.

Sola Sobowale’s career has flourished in recent years, particularly after her role as Eniola Salami in the popular Nigerian movie “King of Boys”.

Her portrayal of the character earned her widespread recognition and praise.
