Governor Malam Umar Namadi has approved the appointment of Babandi Saleh as Permanent Member II of the Jigawa State Civil Service Commission.
The approval was announced in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Malam Bala Ibrahim.
According to the statement, the governor also approved the appointment of Ibrahim Adamu Fagam as Permanent Member III, while Muhammad Bare was elevated from Permanent Member II to Permanent Member I of the Commission.
The SSG noted that the appointments of Saleh and Fagam followed their screening and confirmation by the Jigawa State House of Assembly during its sitting No. 031 on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 (24th Safar, 1447AH).
He urged the appointees to carry out their duties diligently and in line with the procedures guiding the Commission.
The statement added that all the appointments take immediate effect.
