Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to economic empowerment, infrastructure development, and sustainable growth during the grand finale of the ARISE Town Square Meeting and Empowerment Series held in Etinan/Nsit-Ibom/Nsit-Ubium Federal Constituency.
At the event, the governor disbursed ₦361 million in business grants to 844 beneficiaries across the three local government areas, noting that the initiative is part of his government’s deliberate efforts to support small businesses, farmers, and entrepreneurs.
“Beyond the cash grants, we are expanding opportunities for small businesses, farmers, and entrepreneurs so that more families can thrive,” Eno stated.
The governor explained that the empowerment initiative and ongoing infrastructure projects are designed to improve security, connectivity, and quality of life for residents.
Describing the event as an emotional homecoming, Pastor Eno expressed gratitude for the support received from stakeholders, leaders, and traditional rulers.
“It was the grand finale of our federal constituency tour, and I’m humbled by the love and solidarity shown today. Their words of encouragement strengthen my resolve to fully deliver on the ARISE Agenda,” he said.
Governor Eno reaffirmed that his administration remains committed to unity, progress, and sustainable development, assuring Akwa Ibom people of inclusive governance that will enable every individual to rise.
