The Kano State governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sworn in Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo as the Deputy Governor of Kano.
This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa on Tuesday.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Coronation Hall, Government House, Kano and attracted top government officials, political stakeholders, traditional rulers, party loyalists, and members of the public.
