Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is addressing criticism after he was photographed greeting Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate at a UFC event in Miami.
The Food Network star attended UFC 327 at Kaseya Center on April 11, where video and photos showed him shaking hands with the brothers while walking through the venue.
The interaction quickly went viral, with many slamming Fieri for seemingly endorsing the Tate’s who are currently being investigated for human trafficking, r*pe, and other crimes.
“I’m seeing all of your comments about the photo from Saturday’s UFC event and all I can say is that I’m devastated,” he wrote.

Fieri said he did not know who the brothers were when they approached him.
“I was there to see the fights and when I was walking through the venue, the Tate brothers stood up and said hello and that’s when the exchanged happened,” he wrote. “I did not know them or about them before that moment.”
He added, “I’ll never pretend to be a perfect person, but let me be crystal clear, I do not know the Tate brothers nor do I support them in any way.”
