“Have you seen how his skin looks? I would rather chew grass than bite him” – Charles Okocha reacts to Portable’s claims of biting him at boxing match (Video)

Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has reacted to claims of biting Portable at their boxing match.

Kemi Filani reported on Friday last week that Charles won over Portable at their boxing rematch at the Lagos Balmoral Convention Centre. Portable went against the rules of wrestling, taking punches instead of takedowns, and walked out of the ring, earning him a disqualification and making Charles the winner.

Speaking out, Potable claimed that the actor bit him on his back and locked his neck tightly during the match. He noted that he is a star and shouldn’t be engaging in such a match.

Charles Okocha shutdown claims of biting Portable

Addressing his claims, while on TVC Entertainment, Charles noted how he was wearing a mouth guard, making it impossible to bite the singer. He called out Portable for lying, saying he would rather chew grass than bite him.

Charles questioned if people have seen Portable’s skin, adding that he doesn’t want to catch rabies. The actor admonished the singer to accept defeat.

“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. I was wearing a mouth guard; how is that even possible? He was just lying. I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen how Portable’s skin looks? Hell no, I wouldn’t do that. He should just accept defeat”.

That wasn’t the first time Charles and Portable are engaging in a boxing match.

In 2023, Portable also engaged in a boxing match with actor Charles Okocha. The superstars had settled their differences in a boxing match at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State. The two exchanged in a fistfight, which saw Portable winning and clinching the belt as the Champion.

Two months ago, Portable was also defeated in a boxing match with Skitmaker, Cater Efe. Following his win, he received N50 million from businessman E-Money and other perks, which included a German visa.

At his son’s naming ceremony, he revealed that he named his son Fijabi because he was born when he was fighting Carter.

Following his loss, Portable, in a series of rants, said there was foul play, claiming that Carter was using his long hands to hold his neck. He demanded that the organisers give him N200 million as compensation, as his wife was in the labour room while he was fighting.

In a leaked audio with his boss, he pleaded with him to partake in another celebrity boxing match in October. He stated that he had admitted defeat over Carter and wants to give the glory to someone else.

Still dealing with his loss, Portable pointed out the irony of how people don’t show up to his concerts, yet would pay to see his downfall. He noted how he lost to Carter, yet he is still trending.
