Former president Donald Trump took to his Truth Social yesterday to ask McConnell some much-needed questions for supporting a bill meant to heavily fund the government for a while.
Trump asked, “Is McConnell approving all of these Trillions of Dollars worth of Democrat sponsored Bills, without even the slightest bit of negotiation. Because he hates Donald J. Trump, and he knows I am strongly opposed to them, or is he doing it because he believes in the Fake and Highly Destructive Green New Deal, and is willing to take the Country down with him?”
The former president concluded, “In any event, either reason is unacceptable. He has a DEATH WISH. Must immediately seek help and advise from his China loving wife, Coco Chow!”
The former president’s concerns are duly noted as McConnel seems to be acting out of spite for Trump. Regardless of his relationship with the former president, his duty toward the nation should come first. However, approving the ridiculous stopgap spending bill without thinking twice showed that McConnel had abandoned his duty.
…, made by the former president on his truth social in a state of anger, quickly drew criticisms from democrats and republicans as they noted that Trump went too far with the ‘death threats.’ Several republicans indicated this was a strategic period for the GOP as the party was already leading in the polls. They added that the GOP needs nothing for the democrats to pick on again. Some other republicans noted that both politicians to sort out their issues as they were only causing disunity in the party, which shifted focus from the upcoming elections.

In similar news, McConnell’s leadership fund has been supporting several candidates, including some of those who had previously shown support for the former. Some of these candidates had also said they would vote to replace McConnel as their leader.
On the other hand, the former president’s ‘Save America” PAC has announced that it would be diverting funds into a new group called ‘MAGE Inc’, which would fund those same candidates.
McConnel has not replied to Trump’s latest attack, which is highly unlikely he would. Regardless, it is essential for Trump and his allies to win in the upcoming elections. The former president’s candidates need to secure big wins in the forthcoming elections for his position and future in the GOP to remain secured.
Luckily, the polls are looking very good for most of his candidates, and it is expected that at least half of them will emerge victorious in the coming elections. Regardless, many republicans have advised that this is the time to be even more careful as voters are usually extra sensitive before elections. More so, the former president would not wish to be the cause for his candidate to lose the elections as it would not be beneficial for him in any way.
