According to our reporter, a Kenyan man, born John Opana but later identified as Boniface Odhiambo, has revealed how greed led him into a contract killing that ruined his life.
In an interview on Inooro TV, he said a man hired him to murder his wife after she allegedly transferred all their property into her own name. He was promised 70,000 but received only 20,000 after carrying out the act.
His arrest came after he foolishly kept the victim’s phone and ID, which helped police trace him. He was convicted and sentenced to 40 years in prison.
Now behind bars, he warns youths that crime destroys lives and that killers are often people closest to their victims. Watch full report
