Nollywood Yoruba actor Wale Akorede, better known as Okunnu, is celebrating his daughter, Balikis Ayomide Akorede, as she bags another degree with honours.
The comic actor shared photos and clips from her graduation ceremony. He said his daughter had graduated from Humber College with Honours in Biomedical Science.
He stated that his daughter’s hard work, determination, and love for learning inspire him every day, as he told her that the world is hers to explore.
“Beaming with pride as I witness my daughter BALIKIS AYOMIDE AKOREDE @realjumkie graduate from Humber College with honours in Biomedical Science! Your hard work, determination, and love for learning inspire me everyday. The world is yours to explore! Congratulations, my brilliant star!”.

Kemi Filani reported in 2023 that Okunnu’s daughter had bagged a degree in Biotechnology with Honours. Wale expressed gratitude to his creator for the favours on his family.
This came just a day after his son graduated from Humber College in Canada. Sharing photos from the graduation ceremony, he praised his son for working hard to be who he is and prayed for him.
In May, Mercy Aigbe’s husband, Kazim Adeoti celebrated his son with his first wife as he graduated from college. Beaming with pride, Kazim sang the praises of his son as he noted how his achievements reflected his hard work.
