Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has slammed her colleagues and others for quickly posting about the death of Allwell Ademola.
Kemi Filani reported on Saturday night that news made rounds that the Yoruba actress is dead.
Her colleagues confirmed the sad news by mourning her on their respective social media. The likes of Damola Olatunji, Mr Latin, Faithia Williams, and Bidemi Kosoko were the first to mourn her.
Taking to her Instagram page, Biodun revealed that the late actress’s mother is yet to be informed of her daughter’s death.
She expressed sadness at the way people are quicker to post RIP than congratulations. Describing it as alarming, she prayed that our best picture wouldn’t be used as RIP.
“Those of you who are so quick to post bad news and put up pictures, hope you know she has a mother who is not aware yet.
The way people are quick to post RIP rather than congratulations is very alarming.

May we all live to see the end of the year.

Allwell adds to the list of actors who has died this year.
In August, veteran, Chief Kanran kicked the bucket. The news of his demise was made known by filmmaker Seun Oloketuyi on his Instagram page.
Also, in August, actress Jayeola Monje, otherwise known as Jaiye Kuti, had mourned her colleague, Seun Confirm. She revealed that the upcoming actor and filmmaker died from BPH. Expressing sadness at his death, Jaiye said his untimely death really pained her, and prayed that God console his family.
Early August, actor Odunayo Olufemi, better known as Oloto, was announced dead.
On the same day Oloto’s death was announced, Yoruba Nollywood was thrown into another mourning following the death of upcoming actress, Omotola Odunsi.
In June, Nollywood lost another of its own, Kayode Peters. According to reports, the Nigerian film and stage producer died in Canada. His colleague, Steve Onu, known as Yaw, confirmed his demise.
Also, in June, the Yoruba Nollywood industry was thrown into mourning following the death of their colleague, Berry White, who slumped and died in her house. The news of her demise was made known by her colleague, Bakare Zainab, via her Instagram page.
