The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has restated the preparedness of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to reclaim Osun State in the 2026 governorship election.
He made this known during a special prayer session organised on Monday in Iragbiji to commemorate his 71st birthday.
Oyetola, a former governor of Osun, commended party members in the state for their loyalty, unity, and commitment, noting that such dedication remained crucial for the progress of the APC.
The minister said the cohesion within the party structure would serve as a major strength in the quest to return to power. He added that the steadfastness and sacrifices of party faithful had strengthened the collective resolve to reposition the APC ahead of the election.
He charged party leaders and members across the state to remain focused as the next political cycle approaches, stressing that the achievements recorded by the APC in the past demonstrated its capacity and resilience to deliver on electoral promises.
Oyetola also appreciated his supporters and the organisers of the prayer session, describing the gathering as a worthy show of solidarity. He reiterated his belief that, through unity and consistency, the APC would reclaim Osun State in 2026.
