Finding a partner who enjoys similar things is a blessing Shade Ladipo says as she shows off her man

Canada-based Nigerian media personality Shade Ladipo has made a shocking revelation about herself.

In an Instagram story, she revealed how cooking and food caused quarrel in her previous marriage, because she didn’t enjoy doing it. She said she is the type of person who can go days without eating as food isn’t priority. Sharing the lessons she learnt, Shade said she would never pretend to like or enjoy doing something.

The media personality stressed that cooking isn’t her calling and told herself that any man she meets, must know she doesn’t like cooking. Luckily for her, her new boo seems to have accepted it, as she disclosed that he has been the one cooking since they met.

“One thing I learnt from my previous marriage was I would never pretend to like something.

I don’t enjoy cooking, never have, probably never will.

Food caused so many quarrel in my previous marriage.

I pretended like it was something I could of would do and God knows I tried but yeah, cooking isn’t my calling.

I can go 3 days without eating. No, food is not my priority.

When I got divorced, I said with my full chest, to why man I meet, I don’t cook.

Understand and accept the things you value.

Safe to say that in close 15 months of being with my General, I have never cooked a goddam thing”.

Kemi Filani reported in September, last year that Ladipo had finally shown off the man behind her smile. The lovebirds had stepped out in style for the Toronto International Film Festival TIFF, and Shade had shared photos of them from the event on her Instagram page with a lovely caption. She said that finding a partner who enjoys similar things is a blessing as she admitted that she didn’t know how important it was.

Recall that in an interview with Daddy Freeze, last year, Shade had revealed that she was no longer with her husband, as they had separated after COVID-19. She expressed how the lockdown had impacted their relationship and that she was single for a while.

Shade didn’t allow the despite stop her from moving on as she revealed in April, that she was giving marriage a second chance. Ladipo made this known by sharing a video of herself being surprised with balloons, candles, flowers and a ring.

In different news, Shade sent a message to her genders about changing their surname to reflect their marital status. She noted how they work too hard to build their brand, hence, why they shouldn’t be in a hurry to change it, especially on legal documents.

The media personality had also advised her gender against rushing to get married following the wedding of Nollywood actress Rita Dominic. The media personality opined that having a woman like Rita walk down the aisle at 47 set a tone for future generations. Shade avowed that marriage isn’t an achievement in your 30ties.
