Layal Jade Tinubu, the wife of Nigerian president’s son, Seyi Tinubu, has shared personal details on how she met her husband.
Speaking via a recent video broadcast celebrating her husband’s 40th birthday, Layal disclosed that she met her husband on Facebook.
She explained that it was Seyi’s carriage that drew him to her, stressing that he was “confident yet easy-going.”
She said, “We met on Facebook. I wouldn’t really say there was a pickup line per se. But it was more of how he carried himself that drew me to him. He was confident yet easy-going. And he has this opulent charm like he didn’t really need to try.”
Layal is a Nigerian-Lebanese lawyer and entrepreneur. She got married to Seyi Tinubu in 2016. The couple is blessed with children.
In August, the couple celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary.
Seyi Tinubu had taken to his Instagram page to celebrate the anniversary.
He wrote, “9 years married, 20 years together, and our beautiful kids, I remain in awe of your strength, compassion, and the grace you show every day. @layaltinubu Thank you for loving me through it all. Here’s to the life we’ve built and the future where we grow stronger beyond what we sacrifice, to protect those we love, especially each other and our family. I love you.”
