Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has shared one of her memorable conversations with her colleague, Chizzy Alichi, following the news of her pregnancy.
Kemi Filani reported on Friday evening that the actress had announced her pregnancy as she shared maternity photos. Chizzy stated that God makes everything beautiful in His time.
Taking to her Instagram page to rejoice, Mercy recalled crying when Chizzy told her she was pregnant. Congratulating her on her new journey, Mercy stated that her joy is full.
“Finally, I can talk. When my Chizzy told me months ago that she was pregnant, I just started crying. Awesome God, indeed. My joy is full, my baby @chizzyalichi. Congratulations, sweetheart. My respect to Sir.”
This good news comes less than three months after Chizzy lashed out at social media users who are fond of praying for her to get pregnant whenever she congratulates her pregnant colleagues. She said such comments are the reason she hardly comments on such posts and questioned if they knew what her issues and those of her husband were.
Last year, Chizzy Alichi and her husband celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. Chizzy revealed that after God, having a good partner is the best thing that can happen to anybody. The Asaba actress stated that God gave her the best gift in the form of a husband, and she was forever grateful.
