Nigerian singer Panshak Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince, has opened up about his childhood struggles as an orphan.
The ‘Aboki’ crooner shared that his life took a challenging turn when he lost his mother at the age of 21, having already lost his father at the young age of 11.
In a recent episode of the ‘Listen’ podcast, Ice Prince revealed that he worked various menial jobs to support himself through school but could not attend university due to a lack of N20,000.
He stated, “I don’t have a mother or father. I’m an only son. That’s quite tough. I was eleven years old when I lost my dad, and I was about 21 or 22 when my mum passed away. I have a huge family that depends on me. I don’t have any uncles, aunts, godfathers, or godmothers to rely on. It has been nothing but God in my side.”
