Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has been left emotional over her growth as she is set to make her acting debut.
The movie star, who has been in the industry for over a decade, has yet to star in any cinema movie, but that will change by December, as Nkechi is set to make her cinema debut in two movies: The Secret Life of Baba Sege and The Figurines.

Nkechi recalled being insulted by a blogger who questioned how many cinema movies she had done. She said the blogger’s statement was an attack from one of her colleagues, whose identity she didn’t reveal.
The controversial actress, who has since turned a new leaf, said she has been through a lot in the industry, yet God still comes through for her because she refuses to give up.
“I just wrapped set like 20 minutes ago, and I have just been thinking. I am actually going to be in movies coming to cinemas, from one of the top filmmakers, Mo Abudu. How did all of this happen? I remember when Stella Dimokoko insulted me and said, “How many cinema movies have I done?” That was an attack from someone close to me through her, but that’s a story for another day.
I have been through a lot in this industry, and God still manage to see me through because she refused to give up.
I don’t want to tear up, and I don’t want to be emotional.
So many things can change as long as you don’t give up.
I don’t want to tear up because a lot has been going through my head.
Thank you to every single person who sat in the room and mentioned my name for that script. I got it and shot it, and I was paid heavily- I mean millions of naira”.

Just a day ago, NBS shared a throwback photo of herself, saying all she sees is growth. She said she is still a work in progress, as she is not yet where she wants to be.
Kemi Filani reported in March that Nkechi announced that she will be part of the cast of Mo Abudu’s upcoming project, The Secret Life of Baba Segi’s Wives. NBS said she couldn’t believe her luck when she was contacted about the job. She said it felt like a dream until she met Mo Abudu.
Still on it, NBS shared photos of herself picking up her script as she wrote to her late mother. She stated that being cast in the project is a big deal for her, and she couldn’t even hide her joy. The movie star told her fans to be ready to be sick of her as she was preparing and keeping her speech for the release date
While reflecting on her growth, she credited her colleague, Mercy Aigbe, for making her a superstar. Nkechi noted that a film she did with the AMVCA actress made her a superstar, and she appreciated Aigbe for seeing the star in her and allowing her to shine.
Last year, she shed tears as she signed a life-changing deal. She credited her huge success to God, noting that delay wasn’t denial. NBS revealed that she was supposed to sign the deal in February, but the devil did his thing as usual.
In another post, had credited God for being behind her success. She declared that she is nothing without God as she made the biggest decision of her life.
Sometimes back, the light-skinned actress broke down in tears on social media over a lady’s ploys to tarnish her brand. Nkechi noted that she is human and blood runs through her veins. She stated that she doesn’t have any means of livelihood and wasn’t the type to sleep with men to earn a living.
In other news, she had called out some of her colleagues who charge exorbitantly for a movie yet fail to promote it. She vowed to end up at a police station with anyone who messes with her, and she admonished such people to stay away from her.
Late last year, Nkechi had expressed interest in quitting producing movies. She claimed she had spent over N80 million producing movies, and she didn’t get 1 million back.
