Nigerian billionaire businessman and author Femi Otedola has wowed many with his speech at his daughter, Temi’s wedding to singer, Mr Eazi.
The author and entrepreneur revealed that when his daughter introduced him to Eazi in 2017, he was sceptical about the singer because of his dreadlocks. Still, his intrusion told him that the singer was his daughter’s husband.
The billionaire recounted how two incidents almost ruined their wedding as he asserted that the couple’s marriage is blessed by God.
Femi revealed that their engagement was going to be held in his house in Dubai when Israel and Iran went into a war, but as God would have it, their engagement wasn’t cancelled. Another incident was when the tent to be used for their wedding was destroyed by a storm, but God came through for them once more.
“In 2017, probably 8 years ago, Temi said she wanted to introduce me to Tosin. I said No problem, bring him. I saw his dreadlocks and said Well, but something struck me that day, my parents were prophets, so I have that strong intrusion. Something told me that this is Temi’s husband. Eight years later, the dream has come true.
What I have in common with Temi is very spiritual – a spiritual bond. This wedding is blessed by God.
I will tell you two incidents that explain why I said this wedding is blessed.
We were going to have the engagement at my house in Dubai, and there was a war between Israel and Iran, and they fired missiles at Qatar, ten days before the wedding. And I thought of it and was a bit worried we would cancel the engagement, but I said it would happen. And it happened.
This tent we are in, last week I saw a video where there was a storm and it blew away the whole tent.
So this is blessed by my God”.
In his message to his daughter, he told her to succumb to her husband and allow him to be her boss and husband. He also advised Eazi to continue to love Temi.
Femi told the couple to avoid allowing a third party into their problems or issues and to keep their marriage within their wall. Gushing over them, he stated that he observed that they are truly in love and their entrepreneurial skills make them a match made in heaven.
“Temi, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. You found a very great guy who comes from a decent family.
One thing I will advise you is that you have to succumb to the whims of your husband. He is your husband and boss; no more Daddy – don’t call me. What I observed is that they are truly in love with each other. Temi is an entrepreneur, and Tosin is also an entrepreneur, so they match each other – made in heaven.
For Tosin, you’re going to go places. I have seen the entrepreneurial skill in you. Continue to love Temi. When you have issues/problems, keep them to yourself. Never call your friends when you have problems, keep it within your wall, and God will bless you and your marriage”.

The wedding, which was a private affair, was attended by Temi’s siblings and parents, businessman Aliko Dangote, comedian Brodashaggi and others.
