Huawei’s upcoming Fit series smartwatch, allegedly dubbed the Watch Fit 3, has been the subject of a number of leaks lately. The wearable has already been certified by various regulatory authorities. A few alleged press images of the device were also leaked recently. Now, the popular gadget tipster Evan Blass has shared new Huawei Watch Fit 3 images on X. The newly leaked photos have left nothing to the imagination regarding the design of the next-gen Huawei smartwatch.
Huawei Watch Fit 3’s images reveal a design inspired by the Apple Watch
As you can see in the newly leaked images, the Huawei Watch Fit 3 will look like the Apple Watch. It would be very hard for regular people to distinguish between the Watch Fit 3 and the Apple Watch. The Huawei wearable has the same square design and the placement of the buttons as the Apple offering. The smartwatch has a rotating button that looks exactly like Apple’s Digital Crown, which is placed in the exact same place.
Even the second navigation button is also placed in the same spot as the Apple Watch. However, upon a very close inspection, you will find some elemental design differences. The bezels around the screen of the Watch Fit 3 are thicker than those on the Apple Watch. The metal frame also appears to be slightly different, apart from the curvature of the corners.
The Huawei Watch Fit 3 will be available in multiple colors & strap variants
The images posted by Blass have revealed that the Watch Fit 3 will be offered in multiple color and strap variants. One of the variants appears to have a leather strap and a golden frame. There will be four models with a silicone strap available in white, rose, black, and light green hues.
All these variants will feature a matching color frame with their silicone straps. There will also be a special model with both the round crown and the additional button featuring red accents. This one appears to have a luxury “Double Magnetism Milanese” strap, which the brand also offers with the Watch Fit 2.
As far as the specs are concerned, the rumor mill is yet to shed any details of the wearable. The company hasn’t yet revealed a launch date for the device. However, since it has passed important regulatory certifications, the launch seems imminent.
