In a preview for Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe #4 by Gerry Dugan, Paco Medina, and Javier Garrón, the Avengers gather in Wakanda to make a final stand against the rampaging kaiju. Black Panther reveals a giant mecha with a powerful vibranium alloy that could be the key to stopping Godzilla. But that’s not the only plan T’Challa has.
Godzilla is approaching the shores and Bruce Banner is waiting patiently. He injects himself with Pym Particles and allows the Hulk to take over, turning Bruce into a Godzilla-sized version of the Jade Giant. With Hulk large and in control, the iconic Marvel hero issues a challenge to Godzilla, as Godzilla responds with a roar of his own.

Does Hulk Have What it Takes to Stop His New Rival?
Things went from bad to worse the moment Godzilla showed up. The Titan has been hit by everything from magic to science and nothing’s done the trick except for a strange vibranium alloy that aggravated Godzilla. Going for broke, Black Panther called upon Bruce Banner to come to Wakanda, arming him with Pym Particles and giant weapons made from vibranium.
Now Godzilla has proven himself to be pretty resilient, but Hulk’s no slouch himself. Even if he wasn’t a giant, there is virtually no limit to Hulk’s strength, and he’s taken down obstacles far bigger than himself. Now he’s in the same weight class as Godzilla and armed with weapons primed to exploit one of the monster’s few known weaknesses.

But Hulk Has to Really Let Loose to Defeat His Foe
While T’Challa is right to not solely rely on Hulk, the green behemoth is honestly the Avengers’ best chance at defeating Godzilla. Could something go wrong? It’s not impossible. But adding the Avengers’ best assets to Hulk could very well be exactly what the heroes need to do to save the Marvel Universe from Godzilla.
