Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mary Remmy Njoku has shared her thoughts on what keeps her awake at night.
In an Instagram post, the ROK studios founder revealed that she is at a point in her life where she genuinely don’t know what to do. She said she feels like she is standing at a crossroads, uncertain and stuck.
The mother of three further said that the people she thinks she knows, she has come to the realization that she doesn’t know that and that has left her shaken. According to the wife of Jason Njoku, she always have answers and is used to clarify and direction, but this time, she doesn’t have any.
Mary stressed that she doesn’t know what to do as her head is full and she can’t sleep.
“I am at a point in my life where I genuinely don’t know what to do. It feels like I’m standing at a crossroads, uncertain and stuck. The people you think you know, you come to realize, maybe you don’t know them at all. And that shakes you. I usually have answers.
I’m used to clarity, to direction. But this time, I don’t have any answers. I honestly don’t know what to do.
Head is full. Can’t sleep”.
A few weeks back, the wife of the Iroko TV boss had raised a rhetorical question to the public. She questioned why we are alive, why we are still breathing, and what our purpose is on earth. She urged those religious fanatics not to use Christianity as an excuse, as she noted how many who were more religious are dead.
Sometime back, Njoku posed an important question to celebrities on life after stardom. Pointing out how no one stays at the top forever, Mary questioned what would become of them once their fame ended. She further asked if they have a real life to fall back on or have burnt down their real life.
In another post, the mother of three had sent a wake-up call to social media users. She revealed that she misses the days when people would confront others when they mess up and have team conversations with them. She noted how what people do these days is to become keyboard warriors and seek sympathy and temporary fame.
