Chioma, the wife of music star Davido, has vowed to stand by his side during the good and bad times.
Kemi Filani reported that the couple married on Sunday, August 10th, 2025, in a lavish ceremony in Miami.
During their wedding vows, Chioma described Davido as her love, best friend, and the calm in her storm. She promised to walk with him forever and hold his hand.
Davido noted that he has been through many stages, but nothing like being on stage with Chioma. He described Chioma as his love, leave, and hope and stated that she walked into his life quietly and became the loudest. He noted how she saw the real him and still chose him.
The singer added that Chioma is his best friend, healer, and calm in the storm and stated that God brought her into his life to show her unconditional love.
Chioma: “You’re my love, you’re my best friend, you’re my calm in my storm. Nobody knows or loves us like we do. I want you to know that today I am holding your hands, and I am going to walk with you forever.

The singer had proven his love for his woman, by tattooing her name on his body. In a video posted on Israel DMW’s Instagram page, Davido was captured at his pre-wedding photo shoot showing off the tattoo he made of his wife. The singer had inscribed Chioma’s name on his body.
Davido and Chioma’s love story is one that many find very emotional. The couple’s love, just like many, stood the test of time, as they went on and off for a while. From the death of their son to Davido’s several cheating scandals, this couple have survived it all.
In 2023, God blessed them with twins, a boys jd girl, who they welcomed the same month their first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke died.
In an interview, Davido credited Chioma with being behind his success story, noting that his business always suffers whenever he fights with her. He also praised Chioma for being a good stepmom to his others, and recalled a sweet moment between her and Hailey.
