“I am not an ordinary actress or celebrity; I don’t post anything fake” – Iyabo Ojo issues statement amid attacks on her family

My detractors are plotting Iyabo Ojo says

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has spoken out about the constant attacks on her family.

In a lengthy post on her social media page, the accuser alleges that their claims are just proof and admonished the public not to be easily manipulated by those claiming to have proof and evidence.

Iyabo noted how she has never been an ordinary actress or celebrity. She made it clear that activism has been and will always be part of her, and she believes it is why she gets backlash.

She said much of the noise from miscreants is because of her activism, and she has no regrets because she stood on the right path. Iyabo added that there is no way she would post anything fake on social media.

“ANYONE WHO ALLEGES MUST PROVE.

No one is above the law. Don’t be deceived. The law and justice will take their full course.

Also, please, It’s 2026. Please stop believing anyone who comes online to manipulate grown adults like you…
Saying
“I have proof, I have evidence”
without ever showing or posting the evidence for you to verify for yourself…

Also, kindly note this: I was never just an Ordinary actress or celebrity. Activism has been, and will always be, a part of me.
I have NO regrets. I repeat, I have NO regrets helping and fighting for those I fought for.
If I had the opportunity to do it again, I would.
I just no longer bring it to social media.

All this noise these miscreants call “attacks” is a result of my activism.
And I honestly have no regrets because I have stood on the right path.
1 with God is a majority, and my confidence lies solid in Him.
No one is bigger than God, so that no one can rewrite my story or my kids’ story. No matter how hard they plot, curse, defame, manipulate, twist and bark.
My family and I are God’s chosen.

Also, to be clear to all those- our amazing fans and loved ones who are truly worried- please be at peace. God is in control.
His blessings in our lives are a testament to His grace, greatness, celebration, and protection.

We have continued to progress, and my family and I will continue to do so in God’s likeness and glory.

Please let me be very clear:
There is NO WAY — I repeat, NO WAY — we would ever post anything on social media that is fake.
It’s a public notice. You can verify it if you are in denial.
Know that. And know peace.

To my fans and loved ones, I love you and appreciate you”.

In August, Iyabo addressed the falsehoods about her, noting that her detractors were plotting; however, she is on solid ground. The mother of two, describing herself as a law-abiding citizen, said that no matter how far falsehood travels, the truth will catch up with it one day.

When Iyabo got backlash for promoting Murtala airport, she defended herself, claiming she wasn’t paid to praise them. She said her gesture was done out of love for Nigeria, and she was unapologetic about it and will continue to use her craft to promote her country.

Last year, some men had taken to the streets of Lagos, chanting “E no go better for Iyabo Ojo” in response to Mohbad’s incident.

Addressing them, Iyabo, said she had never affirmed that Mohbad’s death was caused by any specific individual. Iyabo noted how certain individuals have, over the years, consistently called for her death, the destruction of her source of livelihood and have engaged in public violence against her and her children without any intervention from the authorities.
