According To Our Reporter, a chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Secretary of its Board of Trustees, Buba Galadima, has emotionally reacted to the defection of Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking on Arise TV, Galadima revealed that he is well above 75 years old and does not easily give in to emotions. He said if anything could make him shed tears, it must have affected him deeply beyond words.

He disclosed that he and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso invested enormous effort and made personal sacrifices to ensure Abba Yusuf emerged as governor. According to him, the governor’s decision to dump the NNPP for the APC felt like a painful betrayal.

Galadima lamented that such political moves cut deeply, especially after years of loyalty and commitment. Watch full report
