Nollywood actress Anita Joseph is honouring herself as she celebrates her birthday today, January 4th, 2026.
Taking to her Instagram page to share new photos of herself, the former wife of MC Fish, said she is honouring her journey, growth, and the woman she is becoming.
She said she is celebrating life and the God who kept her when life was heavy. Anita noted how she is still standing, believing, and becoming.

The past year was undoubtedly bittersweet for Anita, who ended her five years marriage to MC Fish.
The movie star, in December, had finally confirmed that her marriage had ended, noting how life has a way of testing our strength in ways we never expect, especially in marriage. She revealed that she has been walking through a season of deep reflection, pain, and healing, and was choosing grace, growth, and faith.
Insiders, while speaking to a famous blogger, alleged that the 5-year union had come to an end after facing significant personal and emotional challenges. It was revealed that the actress lost two babies while with him; she had suffered a stillbirth and a painful miscarriage. She had also endured domestic violence as MC Fish had allegedly exhibited temper issues, including physical abuse, and substance use.
Last year, when Anita celebrated her birthday, MC Fish had surprised her with her dream car, a white Range Rover. Anita penned a heartfelt note to him, calling him her Odogwu. She appreciated him for constantly spoiling her and prayed for more blessings.
