Nollywood actress Chizzy Alichi is sharing her testimony following the birth of her first child.

The movie star announced the birth of her baby boy via her Instagram page, expressing gratitude to her Maker. She revealed that her son arrived at 30 weeks and spent 3 weeks and 4 days in the NICU.

She described the experience as the most difficult time in her life as she recounted how she suffered a medical condition while pregnant, and was placed on bed rest at home and in the hospital.

Chizzy said she prayed, joined different online prayers, and even paid tithes to different churches. She added that she did so much charity, both at the orphanage homes and on the streets.

“My boy is here

I don’t even know where to start from, but all I can say is Thank you, God Almighty, for what you have done for me and my family.

My son actually arrived a while ago (at 30 weeks ), spent 3 weeks and 4 days (25days) in the NICU

It was the most difficult time of my life. From when a medical condition was detected while I was pregnant to weekly scans, bed rest at home and sometimes in the hospital. I cried, I prayed/joined different online prayers, I paid tithes in different churches both online and offline ( I said maybe God is angry because I wasn’t paying enough tithes, lol), it’s funny to me now. Still, it wasn’t then; I was just doing everything that came to my head. Chapel was my second home (I’m a catholic). I did many charities at the orphanage homes and on the streets. My father’s portrait wasn’t left out; I always pray with it because I was very close to him. Immediately he died, I knew he would come back to me, I’m like “Papa, I thought you were coming back to me, what is going on, you don’t want to come again?” Hmmm, I can’t even explain everything that happened. Still, I can only say that God is too faithful to fail, and those who trust him can NEVER be put to shame. God is the greatest.

My cutest Kenechukwu is home and he’s perfect”.

Kemi Filani reported last month that Chizzy had announced her pregnancy as she shared maternity photos. Chizzy stated that God makes everything beautiful in His time.

In another post, Chizzy affirmed that her life is a testimony. She appreciated everyone’s love and expressed how blessed she was as she prayed for God’s blessings on them.

Months back, Chizzy lashed out at social media users who are fond of praying for her to get pregnant whenever she congratulates her pregnant colleagues. She said such comments are the reason she hardly comments on such posts and questioned if they knew what her issues and those of her husband were.

Last year, Chizzy Alichi and her husband celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. Chizzy revealed that after God, having a good partner is the best thing that can happen to anybody. The Asaba actress stated that God gave her the best gift in the form of a husband, and she was forever grateful.
