Nollywood actor Yul Edochie is counting down to celebrating 20 years in Nollywood.
In a post on his Instagram page, the actor bragged that he had created his name as one of the greatest names in Nollywood history. According to him, this was a product of God’s grace and hard work.
He informed his fans that he would throw a party and it would be loud.
“In a short while, I’ll be celebrating 20 years in Nollywood.
I have crested the name YUL EDOCHIE as one of the greatest names in Nollywood history.
A product of God’s grace and hard work.
Omo, the party go Louuuuddddd!!!”.
A few days back, Yul gave his haters something to talk about again as he declared himself the best actor in Africa. Taking to his Instagram page, he claimed that many people are saying he is the best actor in Africa, which he concurs with. The pastor went on to declare himself the best.
Weeks back, veteran actor, Kanayo Kanayo had given Yul his flowers. He shared a clip of him with the actor on the set of his movie, as he hailed him. Kanayo stated that whether one likes Yul or not, one can’t take away the fact that he is a great performer who knows how to use his voice and body to express his artistic mien and candor.
During his birthday in January, his female colleague, Lizzy Gold, paid tribute to him, revealing the one thing she loves about Yul, which is his passion for his work. She stated that her brand wouldn’t exist without him, nor can her brand name in Nollywood be written without Yul’s name being mentioned.
Last year, Yul revealed one of the greatest lessons he learned from his father, Pete Edochie in his career. The father of five recounted how his father gave him the biggest advice by telling him to return to acting and learn more before becoming a director.
According to Yul, he had directed his first movie, which his father found impressive, but stated that it wasn’t his best. He directed his father once again and he blew him away with his artistic prowess and finally gave him his accolades.
This isn’t the first time, Yul Edochie is tooting his horns. A week back, Yul had bragged about his achievement on social media. He boasted that he and his wife are the most entertaining couple on social media. This came after he and his wife hit 1.5 million views on Facebook.
