According to a report by Punch Newspaper on Friday, March 13, 2026, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared its determination to deploy every lawful strategy to secure electoral victories across different political positions in Abia State.

This position was highlighted during a political gathering held at the country home of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, in Igbere, Bende Local Government Area.
The meeting brought together members of the senator’s political support groups, including the Reality Organisation and the OUK Movement, who assembled to discuss political activities and developments within the state and at the national level.
During the interaction, Kalu addressed party members and associates on the political direction of the APC and its readiness to strengthen its presence in Abia State through sustained mobilization and participation in electoral processes. He explained that the party intends to work through lawful political engagement to achieve success in various elections across the state while maintaining its role within the broader national political structure.
The senator also highlighted the performance and accomplishments of the APC-led federal government since assuming leadership of the country. He spoke about the importance of governance and the responsibilities associated with holding public office, particularly at the state level, while drawing attention to issues related to how some state leaders manage government affairs.
