A r*pist native doctor has begged for forgiveness after he was caught.

The 21-year-old native doctor, Sangokunle Akintola had connived with his colleague named Ismaila Raheem, to r*pe a lady. 

Begging for forgiveness, he said that he“ only did one round within three minutes.”Raheem, 22, had sought the help of Sangokunle to help him carry out the attack claiming his victim collected money from him and refuse to have a relationship with him.

NaijaOnPoint gathered that on the night of October 27, 2021, the suspects invaded the house of Raheem’s victim (name withheld), around Kajola Area in the capital of Osun State. 

When the duo arrived at the lady’s house, they met her in the company of her lover and threatened to kill them if they refused to cooperate with them.

They took the lady out of her room and raped her by taking turns on her. 

While parading the suspects at the Osun State Police Command, Osogbo, the Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode, told newsmen that Raheem and Sangokunle are cultists notable for terrorising the Oke-Baale area of the state.

He said, “They were arrested after the lady they raped reported them for having carnal knowledge of her and forcibly taking her phone using a fabricated gun.”

Confessing about the crime, Raheem said, “The lady we r*ped was a girl in my neighbourhood that I admired. She had been collecting money from me before telling me that I don’t belong to her class. She said she was dating people of higher class.”

Also, Sangokunle, who burst into tears begged for mercy while he was been paraded.

He said, “I am a native doctor. I followed my colleague to r*pe the lady after he told me that she collected his money and refused to have a relationship with him.

I only did one round with three minutes.”

Two Killed As Rival Cults Clash In Lagos Island

“No less than two persons have reportedly been killed during a clash between rival gangsters in the Idumota area of Lagos State.

According to Punch, the clash which started on Thursday evening degenerated into Friday morning leading to the death of the victims.

It was gathered that clash involved hoodlums from Idumota, Balogun, Martins and Oluwole areas of Lagos Island.

It also affected trading and other commercial activities on the Island on Friday.

The hoodlums reportedly shot sporadically into different directions as they displayed assorted arms and ammunition.

Some shops were also said to have been shut down but security agencies on ground assured market men and women to open their shops.

But they only mounted positions to forestall any form of resurgence of violence or hoodlums returning to take advantage of the situation.

Troops Neutralise Three Kidnappers Who Participated In Jos prison Break; Recover Arms And Ammunition

“Three members of a notorious kidnap syndicate have been neutralised by Troops of Operation Safe Haven in Plateau State.

Military Information Officer, Major Ishaku Takwa, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, January 21, said that the syndicate has been on the watchlist of Operation SAFE HAVEN and believed to have masterminded the recent kidnap incidences on the Plateau.

The syndicate is also believed to have participated in the Jos prison jail break on 28 November 2021.

The syndicate met its waterloo when troops of Operation Safe Haven tracked them to Gyero general area where they plan and carry out their nefarious activities.

The kidnappers on sighting the troops opened fire. Our troops responded with superior fire power resulting in the killing of three members.

Items recovered from the syndicate includes, one AK-47 Rifle, 2 AK-47 rifle magazines, 101 live rounds of 7. 62mm ammunition and one tricycle (Keke Napep).

Other items recovered include 2 phones, 2 sharp knives and 2 military headwarmers.

While commending the resilience of the troops for another successful operation, the Commander Operation Safe Haven, Major General Ibrahim Ali, also warned kidnappers and perpetrators of evil to stay clear of Plateau State as he has restated his determination to make the state unbearable for all criminals to operate.

General Ali further urged law abiding citizens to cooperate with security agencies and promptly report any suspicious movement in their area.
