Big Brother Naija star Pere Egbi has joined the thousands of people rejoicing with Cross on his engagement.
Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday night that Cross had proposed to the love of his life, Chinonso. Videos from the proposal made rounds online where the reality star was captured on his knees as he proposed to his woman, who said yes.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, to celebrate him, Pere recalled how Cross once spoke to him about his fiancée during one of her visits to Lagos. He said they spoke so much about her, and Cross told him he had married her, which he is now doing.
Expressing pride in him, he stated that he has activated himself for groomsman duties.
“I remember when I drove you @crossdabossike and dropped you off to see her when she was visiting Lagos. We spoke so much about her. You said you’d marry her, and fast forward, you have. Proud of you, fam. I’m activating myself for groomsman duties. Let’s go!!!”.
In his comment section, Cross confirmed his statement as he cheered on to the wedding.
“Yhh, I remember, bro. Let’s go”.
Last year, Cross sparked relationship rumours with All Stars winner Ilebaye after they were spotted getting cosy at an event. In the clip, Cross held on to Ilebaye, who was smiling like a teenager in love as she looked at the camera. In the background of the video, someone could be heard calling the lovebirds her favourite ship.
In 2023, in an interview, Cross had clarified his relationship stance with Kim, while also touching on his infamous kiss with Ilebaye, which he stated was all just for fun and nothing more.
He disclosed that he has feelings for Kim as the more time they spent together in the house, he appreciated qualities in Kim that he saw as desirable in a romantic partner.
