‘I Was Saved By God To Make America Great Again’ – Trump Reflects On Assassination Attempt

Donald Trump Inauguration

In his inaugural speech as the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump revealed that he believes God saved him from an assassination attempt to help him fulfill his vision of “making America great again.”

Trump reflected on a close brush with death, recounting how, just a few months earlier, an assassin’s bullet narrowly missed him during a rally in Pennsylvania.

Just a few months ago, in a beautiful Pennsylvania field, an assassin’s bullet ripped through my ear,” Trump shared.

Despite the close call, Trump expressed his conviction that his survival was part of a greater purpose. “But I felt then and believe, even more so now that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again,” he added.

The incident occurred on July 13, near Butler, Pennsylvania, where a shooter, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, fired multiple shots at the former president from an elevated position, grazing his right ear with one of the bullets.

Meanwhile, the Republican leader has vowed to immediately implement sweeping changes on immigration and US cultural policies, setting the tone for his second term in office.

Behind the scenes, Trump wasted no time in rolling out his nationalist, right-wing agenda. An official from his administration revealed plans for approximately 100 executive orders aimed at reversing Joe Biden’s legacy.
