Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu, has declared her allegiance to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 elections in Nigeria.
Speaking on Wednesday in Enugu State, Yesufu disclosed that she has never been a card-carrying member of any political party, but that would change with the ADC.
Naijaonpoint reports that she made the declaration at the same venue where Peter Obi officially dumped the Labour Party for the ADC.
According to Yesufu, Obi is her leader, and she is ready to join him in the task of rescuing Nigeria.

It would be recalled that Peter Obi has officially dumped the Labour Party and joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Naijaonpoint reports that Obi, along with some other political leaders from the South-East geopolitical zone, officially declared for the ADC on Wednesday in Enugu State.
According to Obi, it is time for the opposition leaders to join hands and work together in rescuing Nigeria in the 2027 election.
He called on the opposition members to come together under the umbrella of the ADC led by David Mark to rescue Nigeria.
“We are ending this year with the hope that in 2026 we will begin a rescue journey.
“We will resist rigging of election by every lawful means in 2027,” he added.
