Nollywood actress and former beauty queen Ifeoma Nebe has shared a refreshing perspective on life and the year to come. Unlike previous years when she set clear goals and expectations, Nebe revealed that she is adopting a different mindset for 2026.

She said, “I’ve decided not to set any expectations for myself regarding 2026. Every year, I write down resolutions, expectations, and goals, but this time, I’m going in blind. Whatever I encounter, I will deal with, and whatever comes my way, I will thank God. I want to allow life to unfold peacefully. Perhaps 2026 will surprise me in beautiful ways.”

The reigning diva also took the opportunity to speak directly to young people, offering advice rooted in faith, patience, and self-discovery. She emphasized the importance of building a personal relationship with God, beyond inherited beliefs or routine religious practices.

“People need to experience God for themselves. Not just the experiences our parents or Sunday services provide, but a personal one. If you do, you’ll understand that everything in life has its season, which simplifies life,” she added.

Reflecting on her own journey, Nebe noted that growth sometimes requires starting over. “I had to relearn everything from the ground up. I read books on life and scheduled time with God. The moment you decide to let go and allow Him to take control, you’ll be surprised at the boundaries you can break,” she stated.

She also cautioned against unnecessary pressure and comparison, urging patience and inner peace. “Never rush to accomplish everything. You need patience, faith, and a lot of peace within you. Onye kwe, chi ya ekwe—meaning “If you agree, your God will agree.”

Miss Nebe is also straightforward when it comes to setting boundaries, especially with overzealous male fans who cross the line in attempting to gain her attention.

The Enugu State-born actress opened up about how she navigates fame, attention, and personal peace in an industry where public visibility often blurs personal boundaries.

According to Nebe, firmness and clarity are her guiding principles. “I’m a very direct person. I calmly state that I have no intentions with them, and if that doesn’t work, I will block them. I do not have time to over-explain. Most messages, I don’t even open. I really dislike stress, especially from stubborn male fans,” she said.
