ACTRESS Ruth Eze is more than just a beautiful face in Nollywood; she is a woman unafraid to voice her desires and opinions.

In a recent interview, the Imo State-born diva revealed that she has often been approached by married men seeking sexual relationships with her because of their unhappy homes.

“I have been wooed by married men several times. These men approach me more than the single ones, and a lot of single ladies out there can testify to that. I think a good number of married men out there are not happy in their marriages because they must have married wrongly,” she said.

When asked about the pervasive rumour that many female celebrities rely on sugar daddies for financial support, Eze dismisses it outright. “That is a pure lie. We work and we get well-paid for our jobs. But if they put honey in anybody’s mouth, who wouldn’t want to taste it?”

Ms Eze also expressed her thoughts on polygamy. She said, “I can become a second wife, why not? Almost all the great men in the Bible did not marry just one wife. They were all polygamous. I love them older, but, I can only be a second wife to Adedeji Adeleke, Davido’s father. My goodness, I just love the way he treats Chioma, his daughter-in-law. That shows he would treat his wife well.”

Despite her bold personality, Eze does not shy away from discussing the harsh realities of living in Nigeria today. “It’s been crazy. Nobody is living in Nigeria right now that isn’t complaining. Our economy is really bad,” she lamented.

Reflecting on her career, Eze acknowledges her success this year, even as she struggles to keep count of the movies she has completed. “Honestly, I have lost count, and I thank God for that. God has been so faithful.”
