It is an exciting time for Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, as her dream comes true.
Kemi Filani reported a day back that Cuppy had announced the launch of the ‘Cuppy Fund’ for African students at New York University. According to her, the fund is aimed at helping African students overseas.
Now, taking to her Instagram page, she expressed joy at finally returning to the same school she attended 10 years back with the chance of giving back to African students. Describing it as a full circle, she noted how dreams do come true.
“Launching the Cuppy Fund at NYU is a dream come true!!! Imagine returning to the same school I attended 10 years ago, now with the chance to give back to African students— what a FULL circle. God is so GOOD! #CuppyCares @nyuniversity @nyusteinhardt @cuppyfoundation”.
In May of Last year, Cuppy earned praises and she took her love for humanity to the extreme by building a virtual lab for the students of Jakande Estate College. Sharing a video of her visit to the school, Cuppy revealed her obsession with education as she expressed how blessed she was to be a part of the transformative project.
A month before her visit to Jakande, Cuppy launched a scholarship fund in support of African Students at Oxford University. Sharing the good news on her Instagram page, the Oxford graduate announced that she was proudly launching the fund, which is to support and empower any African graduate student of Oxford University.
To add to it, Cuppy won the admiration of many when she sponsored a young lady to school. The daughter of billionaire Otedola revealed that she met the lady, Tobi while working during one of her numerous photoshoots and her resilience after experiencing a tragic life won her hearts.
