Impresit Bakolori, Three Others Lift NASD OTC Exchange by 0.43%

Okitipupa Plc expanded by N10.26 at midweek to close at N122.89 per share versus N102.63 per share, Impresit Bakolori Plc improved by 11 Kobo to trade at N1.16 per unit compared with the preceding day’s N1.05 per unit, Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc rose by 50 Kobo to end at N23.50 per share versus the previous day’s N23.00 per share, and Afriland Properties Plc appreciated by 35 Kobo to settle at N19.00 per unit, in contrast to Tuesday’s closing price of N18.65 per unit.

At the close of transactions, the market capitalization of the bourse increased by N7.8 billion to settle at N1.811 trillion compared with the preceding session’s N1.802 trillion, and the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) went up by 13.78 points to finish at 3,197.80 points versus Tuesday’s 3,184.02 points.

At midweek’s trading day, the share price of Air Liquide Plc went down by 83 Kobo to finish at N7.50 per unit versus the previous day’s N8.33 per unit, and FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc lost 8 Kobo to close at N39.90 per share versus N39.98.

During yesterday’s session, the volume of securities transacted by investors jumped by 690.1 per cent to 14.7 million units from the 1.9 million units transacted in the previous trading day.

However, the value of transactions decreased by 52.6 per cent to N22.8 million from N48.2 million, and the number of deals went south by 35.5 per cent to 20 deals from 31 deals.

Impresit Bakolori Plc finished the day as the most active stock by value (year-to-date) with 519.5 million units worth N504.3 million, trailed by FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc with 7.4 million units valued at N293.2 million, and Geo-Fluids Plc with 9.3 million units sold for N44.8 million.

Similarly, Impresit Bakolori Plc ended the session as the most active stock by volume (year-to-date) with 519.5 million units worth N504.3 million, followed by Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) Plc with 69.6 million units sold for N23.6 million, and Geo-Fluids Plc with 10.7 million units valued at N51.2 million.
