Sai Sudarshan disappointed
Sai Sudarshan is known for his excellent spin. His batting is also very good, but in this match he got to bat only in which he failed. Deshpande also failed
At the same time, Chennai selected Deshpande as an impact player to strengthen their bowling in the second innings. He didn’t impress too much. However, he definitely succeeded in getting a big wicket to Chennai. He showed Shubman Gill the way to the pavilion. Gill wanted to send Deshpande’s ball for a six but Rituraj Gaikwad caught his catch. This wicket was very important for the team.
But Deshpande could not save eight runs in the last over. In the last over, Gujarat had to save eight runs to prevent Chennai from winning and Dhoni expressed confidence in his impact player.
