Iqoo recently launched the Iqoo Z6 5G handset in the Indian market. The brand is all set to launch a new Z6 series smartphone – the Iqoo Z6 Pro on April 27 in the country. Ahead of the launch, a new report by Passionategeekz claims that alongside the Iqoo Z6 Pro, the brand will also launch one more Z6 series smartphone – the Iqoo Z6 4G. Alongside the launch date, folks at PassionateGeeks have also revealed the key specifications, storage variants, and colour options of the upcoming Iqoo Z6 4G smartphone.

As per the report, the Iqoo Z6 4G will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and a 5000mAh battery unit. The handset is said to support 44W fast charging which is significantly faster compared to the 18W on the Iqoo Z6 5G. The report suggests that the Iqoo Z6 4G will be launched in three storage memory configurations – 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. The handset is said to come in two colour options – Black and Blue.

The Iqoo Z6 4G is said to offer a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The company might go in favour of a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel. We can expect the upcoming Iqoo Z6 4G to have a waterdrop notch similar to other Z-series smartphones.

Under the hood, the Iqoo Z6 4G is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and an integrated Adreno 610 GPU. The Snapdragon 680 is one of the popular mid-range 4G processors right now and it powers several devices including the Redmi 10, Realme 9i, Moto G52, Oppo F21 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy A23.

The Iqoo Z6 4G is said to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit and 44W fast charging support. It might ship with Android 12 based FunTouchOS 12. The handset is said to offer a dual-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor. Accompanying the high-resolution sensor will be a 2MP macro camera and a 16MP selfie camera, as per the report.

The Iqoo Z6 4G will offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. For data transfers and charging, it might rely on a Type-C charging port.

The Iqoo Z6 4G is said to be priced at Rs 14,999 in India and might go on sale starting May 4 in the country.

WhatsApp will be Dropping Support for These Smartphones
