Isaac Fayose, the younger brother to the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has refuted claims of exposing Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, following his re-arrest at Lagos airport.
Naijaonpoint reported that Bobrisky, was spotted alongside Isaac while travelling out of the country.
Fayose, who had previously faulted Bobrisky’s detention by the police, took to his Instagram page on Thursday evening to share photos of himself with the crossdresser.
Isaac Fayose said he and Bobrisky boarded the same flight to London.
He wrote, “See who is on the same flight ✈️ with me to London @bobrisky222.”
A few hours after Bobrisky and Isaac Fayose went viral online, the Economic Financial Crimes Commission arrested the crossdresser, and many blamed Isaac.
Some netizens attacked Isaac Fayose on his Instagram page, claiming that if he had not shared photos of Bobrisky online, the crossdress would not have been arrested.
In response, Fayose, in a video shared on his page on Friday, stated he is not responsible for Bobrisky’s arrest, stressing that the crossdresser is a public figure and was recognized by many people at the airport.
Isaac also stated that he was not the only one who took pictures with Bobrisky, adding that the EFCC should publish the names of officers who had cleared Bobrisky of money laundering charges.
