ISIS suicide bomber attacked a packed Greek Orthodox church outside Damascus on Sunday, killing at least 22 people and wounding 63 others, according to Syria’s Health Ministry. The attack occurred during Mass at the Mar Elias Church in the village of Dweil’a, a predominantly Christian area west of the capital.
The bomber reportedly entered the church with his face covered, opened fire on worshipers, and then detonated an explosive vest near the entrance after being confronted.
