Nigerian comedian, I Go Save, has berated Nigerians for mocking Afrobeats superstar, Burna Boy, over the cancellation of some of his shows.

Naijaonpoint reports that a few weeks ago, Burna Boy interrupted his performance and asked a female fan to leave his show after he spotted her sleeping during his performance.

Following the incident, some Nigerians in America called for his show to be boycotted.

Two days ago, his shows in Chicago and Minneapolis were cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

The Grammy-winning artist addressed the incident during a recent show in Dallas, offering an apology to his fans and asking for understanding over the situation.

He said: “I know my ticket sales are suffering since that incident. Even the coffee I introduced no one is buying. So please, I am sorry to everyone and everything I said. It was a slip of tongue.

Netizens who were pleased with the development have taken to the internet to share their joy.

Reacting in a post shared on Instagram Stories, I Go Save berated those who were celebrating the cancellation and equated their actions to ‘witchcraft.”

He argued that God would continue to bless people he wants, regardless of human hatred.

He wrote, “Burna concert kick out might be wrong or right depending on the sides you stand on!

“But same sinners pushing and celebrating a man’s source of daily bread cancellation is witchcraft! I thought your pastors teach about forgiveness every Sunday?

“The fact you hate somebody doesn’t stop God’s blessings.

“Meanwhile you still celebrate your political oppressors

“This generation and bad belle na 5 & 6!
