Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has reacted to the public statement from Serenity Royale Hospital.
Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that the actress‘ medical report, was shared online, showing that she has been battling severe substance abuse involving cocaine, marijuana, alcohol, and other hard drugs. The report, covered her detoxification programme, indicating that she tested positive for multiple psychoactive substances.
Hours ago, the mental health facility Serenity Royale Hospital, Abuja, which Regina allegedly used, denied leaking the report.
On her Instagram page, she appreciated the mental health facility for setting the record straight, noting that she has a close relationship with the hospital’s owner.
Daniels said she almost went crãzy and wanted to sue them, but she appreciates that they are standing by the truth amidst their relationship with Ned.
“Thank you for this. Knowing the owner of this hospital is a family friend made me almost go crãzy and sue y’all. But thanks for standing by the truth, admits knowing your big fish in the family. Saving your hospital and just doing the right thing.
So thanks, and let me kill this”.
Recall that following accusations of domestic violence abuse from Regina, Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment were resisted.
In another public statement, he alleged that Regina’s siblings and her Uche Montana, defied his instructions to rehabilitate Regina. He said they would come to the house uninvited, sometimes forcing their way in, and would bring her the same drugs she was being treated for.
While responding to him, Regina pointed out the irony in which Ned wanted her to go to rehab, when in reality, he was the one cheering on her to get high, because it made her sexier, wild and romantic.
