Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has dismissed reports that she was apprehended by the Nigerian police.
The actress stated this while reacting to viral wanted posters of her.
Speaking via Instagram, she described ...ers as fake and misleading, adding that the rumour mongers are simply trying to pull traffic.
She said, “To you all rumour mongers that spread fake news about me, it shall not be well with you. Who did they arrest? Your fake news always make my fans worried and they will start calling to check on me. You love to mention my name in order to pull traffic on your page and make money. You are heaping curs£s on your head because I am a special being. Anyone that wishes me bad, it will go back to the sender.”
Iyabo’s response comes amid ongoing legal tensions with VeryDarkMan, who has been re-arraigned over cyberbullying allegations against her, Tonto Dikeh and others. She accused him of spreading false narratives online to gain attention and traffic.
The controversy is also linked to a WhatsApp group formed after the death of singer Mohbad, which VeryDarkMan had portrayed as secretive. Iyabo Ojo denied these claims, saying the group’s purpose was to seek justice for Mohbad, including efforts to investigate his death, exhuming his body for autopsy, and ensuring a proper burial.
She insisted that her involvement in legal petitions has always been transparent, clarifying she acted as a witness and not as someone instigating criminal proceedings.
