Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi Ayanwale, has revealed that she suffered a painful personal loss shortly before auditioning for the popular reality show.
Naijaonpoint reports that during an interview with TVC, Imisi disclosed that she lost her baby in April, just a month before taking part in the Big Brother Naija audition.
She explained that the experience was deeply overwhelming and that she found it difficult to open up about it at the time.
“I lost my baby this year April. It’s not even a month before I auditioned for Big Brother. The whole thing was so overwhelming. I do not want to talk about it,” she said.
The reality star shared that the loss, coupled with a breakup from her ex-boyfriend, Hakeem, became the driving force behind her determination to push forward and make something out of her pain.
After emerging as the winner of the show’s ₦80 million grand prize and an SUV, Imisi said she intends to explore a career in music and expand her reach beyond reality television.
She also hinted that she is no longer entirely single, leaving fans curious about her love life after the show.
