The relationship between Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Funke Akindele seems to be waxing stronger with their latest appearance at skitmaker, Kamo State’s wedding.
The popular skitmaker and online creator tied the knot with his heartthrob, Ewanide, at a star-studded wedding ceremony on Wednesday, December 4th, in Lagos.
Nollywood actresses Funke and Iyabo, who were one of the many guests at the wedding ceremony, were the center of attention as they served friendship goals. In one of the clips of the two going viral, Iyabo was captured standing to greet Funke as she walked into the venue and sat beside her. In another video, the beautiful ladies were captured on the face floor as they showed off their dance skills, chit-chat, and hugged.

Recall that Funke Akindele and Iyabo once fell out and were at loggerheads for years now, after Iyabo dragged Funke when a blogger criticised Toyin Abraham’s movie, The Ghost and The Tout. However, Iyabo Ojo and Funke Akindele put their beef aside by embracing and exchanging pecks at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award season 8 in 2022.
When Funke turned 45 that year, Iyabo had showered love on her. She prayed for more blessings and more wins for her.
When Iyabo also turned 45 that same year, Funke celebrated the boss lady with prayers. She had had even stormed her birthday party and the two were seen in viral videos hugging and chatting.
Funke Akindele, in an interview, recounted how Iyabo Ojo and Sikiratu Sindodo helped her up the ladder and fought for her during her early career days. According to her, she was being stereotyped because of her physical appearance which many considered ‘ugly’. This led to her breaking down on one of her movie sets and Iyabo and Sikiratu stood up for her.
