Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has slammed the brother of her late colleague, Allwell Ademola.

Kemi Filani reported on Saturday night that the actress had passed away after suffering a heart attack at her residence. The sad news was confirmed by colleagues of the deceased via their respective social media. The likes of Damola Olatunji, Mr Latin, Faithia Williams, and Bidemi Kosoko were the first to mourn her.

Following her death, her brother had called out her colleagues for posting her pictures as he questioned how many of them supported her when she was alive.

Mentioning names like Iyabo and Lateef Adedimeji, among others, he noted how his sister carried all of them, ye didn’t put her in their movies.

“Everybody dey post all well rest in peace, how many of you supported my sister when she was alive? All of una A-list actor wey call una self her friends, lyabo Ojo all of una.
Me I just remember say my sister carry all of una join body.
Lateef Oladimeji, Owo Nikoko, you come to our house to shoot films. When all of you were doing movies, did you put all well?
But now, you guys are posting my sister say our sister, our producer, our director, did you guys ever promote any of her movies? You guys should stop posting my sister. You guys don’t know her age. She is not 43, ok. Are you guys m@d? Did you honour her when she was alive?”.

Replying to him, Iyabo noted how she supported the late actress when she was building her career as a producer and director. She said she featured her in her movies numerous times for free, and also provided her with financial and emotional support.

“I oversupported your sister when she was alive. When she was building her career as a producer and director, I featured in her movies countless times for free, and I also supported her financially and emotionally. May her beautiful soul continue to rest in perfect peace”.

Speaking out following her demise, her family shared a public announcement, revealing that the actress was 49 years old before her untimely death. They prayed for her soul to rest in peace, appreciated the public for their support and stated that details regarding her burial will be communicated in due course.

Earlier this month, Allwell had remembered her late lover. She, despite it being years, still misses him so much that it hurts. Allwell said she knows he was proud of her and told him to rest well.

In an interview, Allwell had revealed why she was still unmarried at 41. According to her, she would have gotten married in 2005, but death took the love of her life away. She disclosed that she was on a call with him when he was shot. Allwell stated that the incident left her traumatised for two years.

In 2022, the Yoruba actress had marked the remembrance of her lover, noting how he was a good man and her everything. She revealed that she had made a promise to herself to wait for his return, but he never did.
