Ja Rule has inserted himself back into the spotlight as anticipation builds for The Reckoning, the upcoming Netflix documentary about Diddy, produced by 50 Cent.
While many online are counting down to the December 2 premiere, one person who clearly is not celebrating is 50’s longtime rival.
50 Cent appeared on Good Morning America to explain why he felt compelled to be part of the film. Speaking to Robin Roberts, he said, “If I didn’t say anything, you would interpret it as hip hop is fine with his behaviors,” adding that silence from influential figures could make it seem as if the culture approved of what the documentary explores.
He claimed that few others were speaking out, and that staying quiet would amount to looking the other way.
Those remarks did not sit quietly with Ja Rule.
After clips of the interview began circulating, he took to X with a statement that many immediately recognized as a jab at his rival of more than two decades.

“You rat always have been, always will be a f–king RAT,” he wrote to his followers. He continued, calling 50 Cent a “used car salesman suit wearing, field goal nose having, Herman Munster head a–s n—a.”
