Ja Rule has reignited one of hip hop’s messiest feuds, taking aim at 50 Cent after the release of Netflix’s Sean Combs: The Reckoning.
The rapper says Fif is twisting a cultural crisis into personal ammunition and insists the documentary is “not about helping victims at all.”
Over the weekend, Ja blasted 50 Cent for executive producing the four part project about Diddy’s alleged abuse. “Let’s be real that n—a dgaf about the victims,” he wrote, claiming everyone knows the real motive. He also called Fifty “a cancer to the culture” and challenged him to “donate the profits” to domestic violence charities if his intentions are pure.
Last March, 50 Cent responded to his son Sire’s mother, Daphne Joy, who accused him of r*pe and of abuse throughout their relationship.
“The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy the mother of my twelve year old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire,” he wrote. “The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time.”
