Jay-Z’s Sexual Assault Accuser Breaks Silence After Audio Recording Hits the Internet

MTO Square

Last week, an audio recording of Jay-Z’s raper accuser denying that the rapper sexually assaulted her went viral, but now Jane Doe is telling a different story.

In the recording, Doe is heard being questioned by two investigators about her allegations, and she denies being assaulted and claims her attorney pressured her into including him in the lawsuit.

Doe filed new documents to a judge alleging that two Roc Nation private investigators showed up unannounced at her Alabama home. Doe says she was not “calm, natural, or at ease” during the exchange and that she “trembled the entire time we spoke.”

Doe was interviewed by Roc Nation investigators Charlotte Henderson and James Butler.

“I never stated (whether once or 4 times) that Mr. Carter did not assault me,” she wrote in the filing.

Her Attorney, Tony Buzbee, then quickly released an audio call of himself questioning Doe about the interview.

“I spoke to Jane Doe immediately after being contacted by ABC. She has not admitted she lied. The opposite is true. Her position is very clear and has never changed. The tape is a fabrication,” Buzbee’s statement reads.

Jay-Z is suing Jane Doe and Tony Buzbee for defamation.
